This Privacy Policy describes how Brutus ("the app," "we," "us") handles information when you use our mobile game. We built Brutus as an independent developer and take a minimal-data approach: the app does not require account creation, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or other personal details.
Brutus uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played so we can improve it: for example, which levels are too hard, where players fall, and whether updates make the game better or worse. The app sends anonymous gameplay events such as:
These events are linked only to a random app-instance identifier created by Firebase, not to your name or contact details. Firebase also records general information such as country, language and the time of use. Gameplay data is kept for up to 14 months and is used only to analyse and improve Brutus. Brutus uses Google AdMob to show advertisements: an optional rewarded video you can watch to revive after falling, and occasional full-screen ads between runs. AdMob may collect and process certain information to serve and measure ads, which can include:

Brutus offers optional egg packs bought through Google Play Billing. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play; we never see or store your card or payment details. We receive only the information needed to deliver your eggs (which pack was bought and whether the purchase succeeded), which is also recorded in our gameplay analytics as described above.
Your progress (such as eggs, best floor and settings like sound on/off) is saved locally on your device. It is removed if you clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
Brutus does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contact list, photos, or other personal files. We do not sell any data to third parties.
Because the analytics data is not linked to your identity, the simplest way to stop the link to past data is to clear the app's data or reinstall the game, which creates a new random identifier. If you would like us to delete analytics data associated with your device, contact us at the address below and we will help.
Brutus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or services that affect data handling. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
